Many of you PC users out there will be close friends with that blue screen of death that must come regularly knocking on your door. No? Then you must have antivirus installed, right? This is a list compiled by yours sincerely on the best antivirus softwares for the Windows operating systems.
5. Avast antivirus-
This is a robust, free antivirus that does most of your daily malware detecting. But it is prone to letting viruses through, so it will have to do with a 5th place.
4. ESET Nod32 antivirus 4-
If you want a fast and secure antivirus that does things in the background for you without bothering you, then this is for you. With a little more publicizing and tweaking, this could be the best one day
3. Norton Antivirus 2011-
Who dosen't know about this hugely popular brand? It has all-in-one services and is pretty much the bomb. But, it's hefty price tag lets it down.
2. McAfee Antivirus Plus 2011
The popularity of this "new" brand is increasing exponetially. This would be my personal choice and it is. However, there is a better brand....
1. BitDefender Antivirus!
This is arguably the best antivirus on the market for home and office users. Many users have used this software for years, and not have had a virus been leaked. Plus with it's low price of $28 this is the best software that we have reviewed.
